While I Was Waiting

When you are waiting, what do you do with yourself?  Well, when I was waiting for my husband I figured why not make myself some company!  Meet the Acorn family.  

         

         

         

         

They greet me every morning now when I leave for work, at least until the squirrels or the bluejays get to them!

Best Wishes...in Pencil

I met these two young people last year in Montréal while visiting my daughter. They are full of life and love and laughter.  This September they are getting married and I am so happy for them.  My drawing does not do them justice at all, but there is a wee bit of resemblance, sort of! I enjoyed working in pencil and it was fun spending "time" with them while I drew.
